A review of a book I read recently. If you don't know who the Lombards are, or are not interested in costume during the 6th through 8th centuries CE, this review probably won't appeal to you. If it does or if you're just curious, click here.
In which I refer my readers to yet another on-line source--this one a close summary of the clothing-related pages of the book "Bundled in Blue", a National Museum of Iceland publication that describes a recent analysis of the 1936 discovery of a Viking woman's burial. Sound dull? Not to me, but if ancient clothing reconstructions don't appeal to you, don't go here to check out the entry.
