When I was in Cherry Hill, NJ this past weekend for Philcon, I noticed that regular grade gasoline was going for $1.69 at the gas station closest to my hotel.

EDIT: The cheapest gas near me is $1.89 as of Thanksgiving Day.

esrblog and I are still trying to figure out what's wrong with my e-mail.

I've changed my mind. PLEASE try e-mailing me at: cathy at thyrsus dot com. And then send any bounce messages you get either to him (esr at thyrsus dot com) or to my work e-mail (coraymond at cpmy dot com). I am really getting tired of not getting personal e-mail. Thanks.

I may be on the road to having e-mail again.

esrblog figured out today that there was a critical package that somehow got uninstalled from my machine. He reinstalled it. jmaynard just sent me a test message which I got promptly. I've resubscribed as needed to most of my mailing lists, and mail now seems to be coming in for me normally.

On the other hand, I just got Jay's test message a second time. And KMail continues to crash on me regularly, with the following dreaded error message:

A Fatal Error Occurred
The application KMail (kmail) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV).
Please help us improve the software you use by filing a report at http://bugs.kde.org. Useful details include how to reproduce the error, documents that were loaded, etc.

Anyone have any thoughts on what's wrong? Next step is searching the forums for clues, but I thought I'd pick my friends' brains first.
