Yes, I pretty much had the same reaction. I did go to several good panels, hung out some with people I don't see often, and played some interesting games. But everything seemed disorganized. The program didn't get put up on the website until JUST before the con, registration on Friday afternoon was going extremely slowly because there was only one person taking forms and money and that person was also dealing with problems from people who should have had badges but didn't. The con suite, in addition to being dull, was small, with not a lot of room for people to gather. And as of the end of the con the date, hotel and guests for Philcon 2008 hadn't been determined, which in turn means we didn't preregister.
So what's to be done about it? Maybe we should form a Malvern contingent to go to PSFS and see if we can help...
