That's part of what scares me; the puddle that seeped in during the last incident (in October 2007)didn't get anywhere *near* grelber. This one really did stop only 3-4 feet away. I don't want to have to guess whether stuff on my basement floor will be ruined--and I don't want an electrical fire.
I reached my repair guy and he's going to come out Monday, hopefully with helpful recommendations. If he doesn't have helpful recommendations, I guess my fingers will be doing the walking on the Internet.
