E-mail update
I may be on the road to having e-mail again.
esrblog figured out today that there was a critical package that somehow got uninstalled from my machine. He reinstalled it.
jmaynard just sent me a test message which I got promptly. I've resubscribed as needed to most of my mailing lists, and mail now seems to be coming in for me normally.
On the other hand, I just got Jay's test message a second time. And KMail continues to crash on me regularly, with the following dreaded error message:
A Fatal Error Occurred
The application KMail (kmail) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV).
Please help us improve the software you use by filing a report at http://bugs.kde.org. Useful details include how to reproduce the error, documents that were loaded, etc.
Anyone have any thoughts on what's wrong? Next step is searching the forums for clues, but I thought I'd pick my friends' brains first.
