Last fall, Analog magazine published a fact article by my husband, Eric, called "Open Minds, Open Source." (No prizes for guessing what it might have been about.)

In its summer double issue, Analog has just published statistics culled from its readership as to the popularity of the various pieces it has published over the past year, and lo! "Open Minds, Open Source" was the highest vote-getter of all the fact articles! Eric has always liked Analog, and it's still a dream of his to get Analog to publish a piece of original SF authored by him, so he was very pleased, as am I.

Congrats, and congrats to Eric!

That reminds me... I've let my subscription to Analog slip. Thanks.

Any time. Hopefully, Eric will get some fiction published in Analog someday soon--and wouldn't you be sorry if you missed that? :-)

Thanks. If you're interested in looking up the stats yourself, they're in the "Analytical Laboratory" article in the Special Double Issue, which is dated July/August 2005 but, nonetheless, which subscribers will be getting now, and which probably is on newsstands or should be shortly.
