As someone who absolutely avoids the district when anything is going on, I am making plans to be there on the 30th. I can't say I'll be looking forward to the crowds or the transportation nightmare(*), but the rally itself should be fun.

(*)DC is a transportation nightmare on the best of days. The three things I hate about driving in DC? *driving* in DC, driving *in* DC, and driving in *DC*! And the metro is just not convenient to where I live. Yet.

You're right; driving in D.C. is a damn nightmare; I remember with pain the few times in my life that I've done it.

If you keep to your resolution and go, please let me know how the rally goes! I'm curious.
