I meant to comment on the other entry...but Santa Fe is closer to El Paso than Albuquerque, which you might want to factor in next time.

You mean, from El Paso, Texas?

Mapquest says otherwise; it gives me a driving distance estimate of about 4 hours from El Paso to Santa Fe, compared with 1 hour from Albuquerque. Compare:

Google maps more or less agrees with this result.

I know where El Paso is, having been foolhardy enough to go there for a Westercon once; it's smack ON the US/Mexico border. Albuquerque is, on the other hand, considerably (and directly) north of El Paso, and Santa Fe is a bit north of Albuquerque.
