Just like the title says. If scraps of 1,000 year old fabric that come from dead Vikings' clothes don't thrill you, feel free to ignore this one. Otherwise, go here for the entry.

The stripes look diagonal to me, if you look at the orientation of the threads, and not which side is up in the photo. Therefore I am seeing the typical diagonal stripes that result from a basic twill weave, but I can't tell in this case if the dark threads are warp, and the light are weft or vice versa.
