There's a silly New Year's resolution generator that churns out resolutions to order based on your interests list when you type in your name. (Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] jenthompson!) I typed in mine and got this:

In 2007, cathyr19355 resolves to...
Find a better erotica.
Go costuming three times a week.
Put fifty cats a month into my savings account.
Apply for a new linucon.
Give up reading.
Go to the strategy games every month.
Get your own New Year's Resolutions:

As much as I love cats, I don't see myself putting 50 of them in my savings account each month. (What would they eat?) And I refuse to give up reading! But the rest of these are kind of cool. I'd *like* to "apply" for a new Linucon, but doubt that [livejournal.com profile] landley and [livejournal.com profile] mirell are up to it. I already "go to the strategy games" at our favorite games store, Games Keep LLC, more than once a month, and costuming three times a week strikes me as a darn good idea.

Anyway, Happy New Year to you if I don't post again before the big day!
Mood:: 'mischievous' mischievous
Music:: the shower running

Have you tried putting a cat in one of those pneumatic tubes? Not recommended.

No, and I would never do so! But they wouldn't all fit in my house, either. So, no 50 cats a month.

I'm also a feline-o-phile. I put my own name into the generator. The output reads like Zen koans. It told me to "become a better Linux." It also told me to cut down to ten computer games a day, so I'm taking these resolutions with a grain five pounds of salt!

It was, as I said, a very silly meme.
