It has an entry about Malvern, the place where I live. Better still, it's a really good entry, with a photograph of our train station that looks as though it belongs on a postcard and cleverly hides its creeping decrepitude. Neat.

Seeing the article inspired me to look up my hometown (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hercules%2C_California). We don't have a train station yet but we have a sister city. I'm a little envious of your city being the site of an important Revolutionary War battle.

One of the nice things about living on the East Coast, for a history buff, is the enhanced likelihood of living in or near a important historic site. As the Wikipedia said, Malvern, like Philly, was first settled in the late 1600s. That gives it 200 more years of history than most American communities.

Mine isn't as great, all I get is a lame map! ...Must be 'cause I'm from Canada!!! Wikepedia doesn't seem to be too fond of Canadians! Heh!

Probably means that they know less about Canada, but that's no excuse. :-)

That's what irritates me about Wikipedia the most. Some entries are really great, while others are incomplete.

It mentions Swiss Pines as a Point of Interest!

That's the one place I've visited in Malvern.

Ironically, I hadn't been there for years. A few weeks ago, I tried to take an out-of-town friend there, and couldn't find it! Aggh.
