Basement Blues--part 5, or whatever I'm up to.

It rained for nearly 48 hours straight this weekend, so naturally I had water in my basement again.

Called Contractor Guy and told him. He has moved the work to be done at my place up in his queue as a result, and will be here tomorrow. Hopefully, he can do most of it before we get the snow they're predicting for tomorrow night.

Ouch. Good luck in getting it fixed. With all the rain today even here, I'm being very glad we don't have a basement.

If I didn't have a basement, we'd have had to sell most of our books, long ago. :-)

Contractor Guy returns this morning; I shall be pretending attempting to work from home until he shows up. He thinks a small drain near the front walk would be useful, as a supplement to the grading work, and he wants to show me the location he has in mind.
