The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.
Jet Li. Brendan Fraser. The terracotta army, coming to life. Villains that control the five elements. Two kick-ass females with fighting skills. What's not to like? August 1 is too far away!

Righteous Kill.
I don't usually do police procedural movies, but this one not only features Al Pacino *and* Robert De Niro, it has a new twist; the cop as serial killer. Moreover, the *trailer* looked intelligent--something few movies manage even when the movie as a whole is intelligent. I'm penciling it into my movie-watching schedule.

Step Brothers.
Somebody oughta sic Angelina Jolie's character from Wanted on these guys and put us all out of their misery.

I hear ya, but cop as serial killer isn't a new twist. ;)

I did say I don't go in much for cop shows, didn't I? :-) Thanks for the friendly amendment.

Yeah, I have been (not so jokingly) accused of having a "true crime obsession." Along with that comes a healthy appreciation of crime fiction, especially stuff involving serial killers.

It's not actually a 'cop show,' but if you have never seen Kiss the Girls, starring Cary Elwes and Ashley Judd, it is highly recommended. I will say no more about it, lest I spoil it for you.

I haven't seen it, but I'll keep it in mind next time I'm looking for a movie to watch.

It's good enough to have made it into my personal collection, FYI. I think I forgot to mention that in my hearty recommendation. ;)

You and your hubby give each other a kiss for me, ok?
