This time, it's the air conditioning. Or, more precisely, the lack thereof. This matters because my house has lousy cross-ventilation; opening windows, in and of itself, usually does nothing to cool the place down, even if it's cool outside.
Now it's possible that part of the current AC problem of this may be the fact that it *is* genuinely cool outside, at least. But I'm not sure it's below 60 degrees Fahrenheit, which is the temperature at which the industry says AC won't work, or won't work correctly.
So I've opened the windows, turned the HVAC system to "fan only," and called the people I have a service contract with. Let's hope they honor it.
