It's getting to the point where I can't go to my local supermarket without finding some product I didn't previously know existed, or at least had never seen in a supermarket. Last week, it was Chinese woks, of the kind I had to go to Philadelphia's Chinatown to buy 20 years ago.
Yesterday, the new product was Splenda artificial sweetener--in flavors! Five of them, to be precise: Mocha, French Vanilla, Hazelnut, Caramel, and Cinnamon Spice. My supermarket was out of all of them except for Mocha, which tells me that Mocha is the only one *not* to bother with.
Since I don't drink coffee and don't have a need for a really strong sweet flavoring, the French Vanilla, Hazelnut, and Caramel varieties would probably also be excessive. I might enjoy the Cinnamon Spice, though, in one of my favorite teas. I'll have to try it sometime.
