First, we have glow in the dark meats. All right, I admit the glow-in-the-dark property is a bug (microorganisms actually) but it still makes for an item you'd rather not see on your supermarket's shelves.
Then I saw that The Sharper Image is selling an animatronic chimpanzee, for only $149.95! Just the sort of companion I've always wanted. Bleah. I'd rather talk to my cat; her conversation is much more intelligent.
In other news, today I noticed that a chain drug store near my office is selling inflatable Snoopy snow globes for only $89.99! That's even cheaper than the Home Depot special I wrote about a few weeks ago. Guess it's time to stock up. :-)
