esrblog and I will head off to the wilds of Michigan to participate in Polaris's second annual Summer Weapons Retreat. Like the Aegis events we have attended in the past, this one will combine training in sword and other Western European bladed weapons techniques with other sorts of martial (arts) knowledge.
The Retreat begins Wednesday morning; we are going early because this year, we are driving. The opportunity to take more luggage, travel more cheaply, and have more flexibility in logistics while we're in Michigan, persuaded us.
I will have my laptop with me, but both time and the probability of limited wifi access where we're going militate against the chance that I'll be doing a lot of updating of this blog (or any of my other blogs) while we're gone. More after I get back July 1 or so.
