Still not in Santa Fe (or, Santa Fe, take 3)

Well, there's been another schedule change.

The good news is that I won't have to travel on a Sunday, since the deposition is no longer set for October 31. However, the bad news is that the new date is November 22. Which means that I will be making my return trip on November 23. Yes, that's right, the day before Thanksgiving--the worst day to travel in North America. Murphy must be loving this. :-)

You're not the first to suggest this, but I won't because:

1) It makes the logistics too crazy;
2) I'd have to pay for his ticket, and my travel budget for this year was blown long ago, and;
3) I'm just about out of vacation time anyway.

I'm just waiting for the schedule change to Christmas Even or Christmas at this rate.

That wouldn't be surprising, at this point--despite the fact that depositions in this case were originally supposed to be done by November 15. I've seen proposed dates for some witnesses who haven't been scheduled yet, and they extend well into December.

Let's just hope the New Mexican witness wants to celebrate Christmas in peace. :-)
