I'm exaggerating, but only slightly.
There are now two very dark spots on the outside of the orbit of my left eye socket, and the area between them is swollen. It's hard to see that there's anything wrong when my glasses are on, though. So far.
What happened: I failed to block a headshot while engaging in sword practice with
esrblog. This is why I don't wear my glasses when we spar.
He's kind of proud of me, he says. For my part, I think I'd have more reason to be proud if I'd given *him* the shiner, instead of taking one myself.
